REDCODE RAW (R3D) is RED's proprietary compressed RAW format. It gives you the full flexibility of a RAW file (adjusting ISO, white balance, etc., in post) in a more manageable file size. Modern editing software handles R3D files very well, often with a simple proxy workflow, which we can advise on.
The RF mount is modern and highly adaptable. It allows for the use of new, high-performance Canon RF lenses and, more importantly, its design allows for very solid and reliable adapters for professional PL mount and Canon EF mount lenses, giving you a huge range of creative choices.
